Accutron repair and restoration is our SPECIALTY, including re-plating services and dial restoration .  We repair and/or restore approximately 1,000 vintage Accutron watches each year.  Bulova recommends Old Father Time for all their vintage watch repair.  And when the owner of the Bulova Corporation needs his personal vintage watches repaired, they're sent to Old Father Time.  That's why we've been

We charge No Additional FEES for restoration of individual case backs, pushers, crowns or battery door components.  Our case restoration service is "all inclusive".   We also offer many types of case repair and re-plating services, and authentic Spaceview crystal replacements and all factory-correct new/old stock components, or newly manufactured factory parts.  As the only Bulova authorized service provider for vintage Accutron Repair, we're able to offer many authentic components not offered elsewhere.  We professionally handle all types of restoration projects, with over 65 (combined) years of experience.

  Vintage Accutron repair is one of our favorites, however, like any professional, full-service repair center, our shop is equipped for many brands of watch repair.  Our staff of watchmakers is highly skilled and is either a certified or Master watchmaking professional.   Our watchmakers attend continuing education classes either at AWCI or WOSTEP.  This is essential in staying abreast of new technologies and advances in the field.

Packing & Shipping Suggestions
Pack your watch in a box that's approximately 10" X 8" X 6" in size, or a size that can't easily be lost by the carrier.  We recommend wrapping the item in bubble-wrap, and then packing in styrofoam peanuts or void air bags.  We recommend the use of USPS Registered Mail, Insured for shipping timepieces to us.    We don't recommend using UPS.  Click HERE to see why.
Please make no reference to the contents on the outside of your package.  Our address label, at the bottom of our Accutron Repair Form, may be used for US Postal Service only.  Shortly after your package arrives, we'll send a detailed repair estimate by email.  We'll then wait for your reply before proceeding.

packing that can be discarded.

Our $65 Estimate Fee on vintage watches includes diagnosis of needed repairs, detailed written estimate, and return shipping and insurance by Federal Express if repairs are declined.  If, after obtaining your approval, we repair your Accutron, the Estimate is FREE!

Please allow adequate turn-around time.
As the largest facility in the U.S. for the repair of vintage timepieces, turnaround time can vary depending on the number of repairs in the shop at any given point.  Turnaround time varies by factors such as time of year, complexity, parts availability, and the number of repairs in progress.  Our current turnaround time is 3 - 6 weeks.  Your patience is always appreciated!
